Nadia Murad is a Yazidi human rights activist and survivor of the 2014 Yazidi genocide committed by ISIS. Since then, she has become one of the world's leading advocates for Yazidi rights, justice and survivors of conflict-related sexual violence. In 2018, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and continues her work through Nadia's Initiative, supporting the reconstruction of Sinjar and raising global awareness of the Yazidi genocide. Her memoir, The Last Girl, has been translated into numerous languages and shares her remarkable story of courage and resilience.
